On April 1, 2025, Agents with the Morgan County Sheriff's Drug Enforcement Unit, working on tips from the public, executed a search warrant at a residence on Rustic Ln in Hartselle.

During the search, a large quantity of marijuana was located, including numerous vapes and gummies, and a large amount of U.S. currency.

Agents arrested:

Grant Thomas Gaines, 27 of Hartselle

He is charged with:

• 13A-12-231 Drug Trafficking, Bond $10,000.00
• 13A-12-212 Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance, Bond $1,000.00

He was transported to and booked in the Morgan County Jail.
